Women’s Ministry

“Your every act should be done with love.”

1 Corinthians 16:14

As a community of women rooted in our Catholic faith, we offer opportunities to deepen our relationship with God, develop relationships with other women to support our spiritual growth, and engage in a relationship of love with Jesus that leads to service.

Women’s Night of Reflection

Our monthly Women’s Night of Reflection (WNR) offers all women the opportunity to establish a stronger relationship with Christ through an evening of prayer, fellowship, and reflection. The evening begins with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and a meditation talk given by a priest, followed by silent prayer and Adoration. The Sacrament of Confession is offered throughout the evening, and Prayers of Healing may be offered during Adoration. The night concludes with Benediction. (Contact: standrewwnr@yahoo.com). Sign up to receive our Flocknote messages for the WNR <HERE>.

Endow Women’s Study

Endow brings women into small group communities that transmit the depth of our Catholic faith to awaken each participant’s particular genius and ignite them as luminaries who heal, mother, and prepare families and the world for the love of Christ. Join other women in the parish for a weekly study that facilitates friendship, unites us in prayer, and forms us in our faith, all in a casual setting. Reading material and discussion questions tie the concepts of the study with our everyday lives.

“Teresa of Avila: Teacher of Prayer” begins January 28. Visit www.endowgroups.org to read more about the format and content, and to order the book. Three meeting times will be offered: Tuesday & Friday mornings after Mass, and Tuesday evenings. Registration is required.  (Contact: lisacino@gmail.com). Sign up to receive our Flocknote messages for this Endow Women’s Study <HERE>.

Lenten Virtues for Women: discover fresh ways of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving

Rose Folsom, Lay Dominican and founder of VirtueConnection.com, will introduce us to ways of practicing the “Lenten Virtues” of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving  – ways that we can actually enjoy (God loves a cheerful giver!). The series goes for 3 Wednesdays in Lent: March 4, March 11, and March 18 from 7:15‒8:30 p.m. in the Rectory Basement Conference Room. Your one-time $5 donation to the Council of Catholic Women covers one evening, two evenings, or all three ‒ however many you can join us for. Each week, Rose’s presentation will be followed by a discussion to swap ideas and experiences – and just enjoy each other’s company. Register <HERE>.
