“Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may prove what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
Romans 12:2

Romans: The Gospel of Salvation – Dr. Andrew Swafford and Jeff Cavins

7:10-08:45 pm Thursday evenings

Romans is a challenging theological exposition on the doctrine of the supremacy of Christ and the relationship between faith, works, justification, and the law. Faith in Christ is the source of salvation and in this letter Paul makes an implicit plea to all Christians, to hold fast to that faith.

    This course covers

  • The Catholic teaching on salvation
  • What is required for salvation—faith or works
  • What Paul really means by “works” not leading to salvation
  • How Christ’s death changed our relationship with God
  • How we can enter more deeply into Christ
