Journey through Lent with St. Ignatius of Loyola

Saint Andrew’s Annual Lenten Ignatian Retreat

We invite you to Journey Through Lent with Saint Ignatius of Loyola, the Spanish courtier-turned-priest whose adventures 500 years ago provide an example of how personal change and fulfillment is possible, even in the most challenging of circumstances.

You can follow the retreat online on your laptop, PC, or mobile phone, using the https://www.onlineprayer.net/ignatius/ website or the ISC app, or by signing up for daily emails. You will be able to pray daily with Scripture, music, images, and episodes from the life of Ignatius.

To sign up for the optional daily morning retreat email and/or the app see: https://www.iscglasgow.co.uk/lent22.html

We will again have an SAA Lenten retreat group meeting on Zoom every Tuesday evening beginning March 1 from 8-9 pm. The first meeting will be both a “meet and greet” and a quick review of the retreat process and content. There will be time for Q&A. These online meetings are often helpful by allowing you to hear how the spirit has moved in others which may reinforce or encourage you to pay attention to what has happened in you. You can also deepen your understanding of the transformative power of Ignatius, by sharing the fruits of your prayer and your own faith experiences in this weekly group. Those who participated in these calls last year said that being able to share their prayer experiences made a big difference in benefitting from the retreat from the Jesuits in Scotland.

To register for the optional Tuesday evening SAA retreat group Zoom calls, email Bill Coffin, billcoffin68@gmail.com. Please put “retreat” in the subject line.
