Join us for a powerful story of faith, hope, and forgiveness.

For three terrifying months during the horrific 1994 Tutsi genocide in Rwanda, Immaculée Ilibagiza and seven other women hid for their lives in the tiny, secret bathroom of a local pastor. During that time, an estimated 800,000 people—including nearly all of her family—were brutally murdered.  Amidst the ordeal, Immaculée discovered the power of prayer and a profound and lasting relationship with God, which enabled her to seek out and forgive even her family’s killers.

Immaculée not only survived the genocide, but emerged as a fierce advocate for peace and reconciliation. Four years after the genocide, she emigrated to the United States and began working for the U.N., establishing the Left to Tell Charitable Fund to help orphaned children in Africa.  She is currently seeking to establish a student sponsorship program to support educational opportunities for Rwandan students at a university or minor-seminary. Immaculée has been featured on 60 Minutes, The CBS Early Show, CNN, EWTN, CBS Evening News, The Aljazeera Network as well as in The New York Times, USA Today, Newsday, and many other domestic and international publications. She remains devoted to sharing with audiences the importance of faith, understanding, and unconditional forgiveness and has published several books, including the New York Times best-selling Left to Tell: Discovering God Amidst the Rwandan Holocaust.

We hope you can join us!
