Friday, September 21 to Saturday, September 22, 2018

God designed us to desire and seek the truth.  Our parish will host a 24 Hour DAY OF PRAYER and an opportunity to Encounter Christ as we continue our journey toward heaven as saints, sinners, and everyone in between, seeking the truth that is Jesus Christ, through the intercession of Our Lady of Perpetual Help who always leads us to her Son.

You may also join the prayers and Eucharistic Adoration from home.

This Day of Prayer is offered for the sanctification of the entire Church.  Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.  His Spirit flows through His Church and enlightens and illuminates what is of God and what is not, and beckons us to respond according to that truth in a call to conversion. Now is the time to become saints.

We will begin each hour with the recitation of the hourly prayer, followed only by silent prayer unless it’s an hour that includes the Divine Office.  The hourly prayer will be the Litany of Our Lady of Perpetual Help <HERE>.  This Marian litany is a beautiful prayer that implores the protection and assistance of Our Lady, our perpetual helper and source of grace for conversion and salvation.

Each hour has been assigned a special intention except those during which a daily Mass will be celebrated.  Each represents a virtue or grace that will help conform our hearts to that of Christ. These are listed on the right sidebar of this webpage. Pick one that speaks to you and consider signing up to be a Prayer Captain or Adorer especially for that hour <HERE>.

Personal Intentions

Cards will be available to enter your own personal intentions for which you pledge to pray during the 24 Hours.  You may place this card in the basket in front of the altar at any time.  If you are unable to attend the 24 Hours but would like your intentions included, Father Dan Leary invites you to email him directly at and he will include these for you.

Spiritual Bouquet cards will also be available if you wish to offer your holy hour and prayers for a specific person. Simply fill out the card and send it to the person for whom you prayed as your gift to them.

You are invited to come and pray anytime during the 24 hours or commit to spend a specific hour with Jesus by using the SignUp Genius link below.
