The phase of work that began on November 18th includes a new entry to the Multipurpose Room and school, improvements to the hallway outside the Multipurpose Room, and new updated ADA-compliant restrooms and utilities to support the other project improvements. It is expected to be completed in April 2020.
We experience Christ in our lives in relationship with one another. Our new gathering spaces will provide opportunities to connect with one another after Masses, weddings, funerals, and other parish functions. An intimate and secure Day Chapel near the church entrance can be used for expanded hours of Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, a “cry” room, and a bride’s dressing room. Updated restroom facilities will accommodate a greater number of people and the handicapped. The updated architecture and landscaping will create a more open and inviting presence that will help attract and draw more people to our community.
Our new meeting spaces will meet the needs of the ministries and activities that support our mission (e.g. faith formation, youth, elderly, service projects, social events, and community events). Moveable walls will accommodate multiple groups meeting simultaneously. A renovated kitchen will improve our ability to support our events and charitable activities. Upgraded video and audio capabilities will enhance our formation activities. Updated lighting and HVAC systems will address energy usage issues.
