Join us in Perpetual Parish Prayer at Home

Beginning Sunday, March 22 at 7:00pm

24 Hours a Day, 7 Days A week

entrusting all people to Our Lady, Saint Joseph, and the Saints

This is an opportunity for us to feel connected to one another through private prayer in our homes. By committing to one hour of prayer each week from your home and filling all of our available slots, we will be in perpetual prayer for our parish, our community, our country, and our world.

Sign up as a household or individual to pray during one hour and continue to pray during that same hour each week (i.e. if you sign up for Sunday at 3:00pm, then you will be committing to pray each Sunday at 3:00pm).

We welcome and encourage others outside of our parish to join us in prayer, but we ask that commitment hours on the signup be reserved for parish members only at this time. It is easier to sign up using a desktop computer rather than a mobile phone because scrolling is not necessary to view all dates.

Each day of the week after Easter is assigned a different intention as we join in prayer for all those helping in the battle against COVID-19,

Sundays: For those who are dying and their families

Mondays: For those who are sick and their families

Tuesdays: For doctors and nurses and hospital personnel

Wednesdays: For first responders and emergency personnel

Thursdays: For medical researchers finding cures and treatments

Fridays: For companies providing medical supplies and medicines

Saturdays: For priests and religious providing spiritual care

Prayers to Recite During Your Holy Hour

beginning April 13, 2020

Creating a Prayer Space at Home

Creating a prayer space reminds us of God’s presence at all times. Such a space could be the center of a dining table, an end table, a coffee table, a mantle, or a shelf. Simply place a candle and include an image or statue of Jesus or Mary.

“Let us remain united. Let us make our closeness felt toward those persons who are the most lonely and tried.”
