Bible Study

“Therefore, holy brethren, who share in a heavenly call, consider Jesus, the apostle and high priest of our confession.  He was faithful to him who appointed him, just as Moses also was faithful in God’s house. Yet Jesus has been counted worthy of as much more glory than Moses as the builder of a house has more honor than the house. Now Moses was faithful in all God’s house as a servant, to testify to the things that were to be spoken later, but Christ was faithful over God’s house as a son. And we are his house if we hold fast our confidence and pride in our hope.” (Hebrews 3:1-3,5-6)

Exodus – Called to Freedom

7:10-08:45 pm Thursday evenings, Facilitators: Br. Jonah Teller O.P., Ken White

This study examines the book of Exodus through the lens of Christ and His Church.  The Exodus event can be seen as the defining moment in Israel’s history, for it was then that God called Israel out of slavery in Egypt and to a life of freedom as his people. Exodus is our story as well; it reveals to us who God is and what he calls us to be. This course is based on the DVD presentation by Dr. Tim Gray.
