Welcome Alumni! Saint Andrew Apostle School established an Alumni Network in 2000 as a means of increasing the involvement of our former students within our school and parish community. Since then we’ve reunited and formed a solid network that reaches across the country and around the world. We welcome you to our website and encourage you to visit often to stay up-to-date on alumni, school, and parish activities that we feel will be of interest to you. We encourage you to become involved in our community!
ALUMNUS IN THE NEWS!
Father Brian Kane (SAA Class of 1987), a Chaplain and Lieutenant Colonel in the Nebraska Army National Guard, was interviewed by Father Mitch Pacwa, S.J. on EWTN Live on February 8, 2017. During the hour-long program, Father Kane told of his experiences over more than a decade serving as a National Guard Chaplain. Reflecting on his 2005 and 2010 deployments to Iraq, Father Kane said, “Both were opportunities of amazing grace to be able to serve as a priest and to be able to bring the presence of Jesus in the midst of a combat zone to people who were really struggling and being away from their family, facing death, facing all kinds of difficulties.” Father Kane is also Dean of Men at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in Wynnewood, PA. He discusses his role in the Seminary’s Human Formation Program, and how his experience as an Army Chaplain has helped his work there. You can listen to the interview here:
