A Message of Appeal from Father Louis Kemmayou

Saint Ann’s Church, St. Croix

to the People of Saint Andrew Apostle

After 2 days, the top floor of the Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral Rectory was blown away and the stained-glass windows are shattered. In the Saint Peter and Paul school, the school library back wall collapsed and the cafeteria kitchen and ceiling were damaged.

The convent near the Cathedral has a section of the roof broken and the Cathedral rectory rests on the convent’s roof. Part of the roof of the rectory at St. Joachim and Ann’s Parish of the Diocese of St. Croix came off and a large part of the upper floor was devastated. The roof completely came off the Parish offices. The main convent building of the Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary was completely destroyed.
